First hybrid system (solar and tidal turbine) with storage connected to the national grid
MegaWattBlue project is co-financed by Guinard Energies, Brittany Region and the European Fund (ERDF). This is the first electricity production system with solar and tidal turbine connected to the French national Grid.
The high performance tidal turbine P154 (20kW @ 3m/s) is currently in demonstration in Ria d'Etel, in French Britanny.
